HELLO EVERYONE, I'M NICK!

The Nardozi Brothers were a local Pittsburgh oldies band/duo from the early eighties to the mid nineties. This is a picture of me(left)and brother Billy at the 3 Rivers Arts Festival around 1983. We played there 3 consecutive years. We had a great time. We sang a lot of Beatle and Everly Brothers tunes. Our vocal harmonies were second to none!

HOW THE NARDOZI BROS. MUSICAL CAREER BEGAN

My brother and I have been playing music for the past twenty five years. We have played clubs, weddings, parties, etc. We are both lead vocalists, background vocalists as well as guitarists. My brother and I, along with sister Lori grew up watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show and decided from that moment, no matter how little talent we had at the time we wanted to play music. We were very influenced by British music. We started to get serious about music in high school. It was interrupted for a couple of years as I joined the Navy. When I was discharged from the service my brother Billy had already gotten us jobs playing out. We were playing Rock-n-Roll and thought that we were going to make it big! Actually we were pretty good. My brother was wild and crazy (very talented) and a great showman. I was the quiet one (unless Billy tried to cut out my songs) but loved that energy. As the years went by, our vocal harmonies got to be very good. Being brothers, our voices blended together which sounded great. We made a lot of money playing a lot of jobs. It was a wonderful experience, one that I'll never forget. We played for about twenty years in the area. We also cut a record in the studio. It didn't really amount to much but to us it was worthwhile. My brother and I are not finished. We are planning to start practicing again and will be playing out in just a couple of months from now.
