Hey KINKS fans everywhere! My name is Nick Nardozi. I'm from Pittsburgh Pa. I am just crazy about the Kinks! I've seen them about ten times in concert and man, you will never see a better live show. Ray Davies is the greatest showman that I have ever seen. Dave Davies is simply THE rock-n-roll guitar man. |

| HERE'S HOW I BECAME A KINKS FAN It all started a long time ago. My brother Billy and I grew up loving the British Invasion. When we saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show we just about died. From then on that's what we wanted to do. We loved all the British music. That was the best. I was not a true Kinks fan until the middle to late seventies. When "Lola" came out around 1971, I absolutely went crazy over that song. I immediately bought the "45" and played it over and over again. I didn't think too much of the Kinks at that time. Actually it would be another six or seven years until I heard them again. I was at a friend's house drinking beer and partying when he put this album on. Schoolboys in Disgrace was the name and when I asked who was singing it I was floored. I couldn't believe it was the Kinks. I didn't know they were even still alive. I just couldn't get over it. From there it was history. I started buying their albums and then I heard on the radio that they were coming to Pittsburgh for their Schoolboys tour. I went to see them and just couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was without a doubt the best concert I had ever seen. Ray Davies was phenominal. From then on I bought every album they had in the next couple of years. I had Kinks parties at my house all the time. I got a lot of my friends into the Kinks and they loved them also. So if you include the start with "Lola", I've loved the Kinks for about thirty years. I'm anxiously waiting for a Kinks reunion and hopeful that it's soon. I at least need to see them as the Kinks one more time. I don't think I'll be able to survive without them. They are the greatest and their music will always be part of my life.
